The Psychiatry Group offers psychiatric medication management for eligible injured workers with Washington L&I and applicable self-insured claims. Care focuses on evaluating psychiatric symptoms, reviewing medication needs, monitoring treatment progress, and making appropriate medication recommendations. Services are provided according to clinical needs, claim requirements, and applicable authorization procedures.
Treating psychiatric care
Medication management is ongoing psychiatric care focused on finding and maintaining the right medication plan. For many injured workers, it is one important part of treatment after a workplace injury.
If you are in crisis, call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911. Our office line is for appointments, not crisis support.
Injured workers who have been evaluated and need continuing psychiatric medication care, including workers with L&I, self-insured, or third-party claims.
In most cases, authorization is required for ongoing care on a workers’ compensation claim. Private-pay patients do not need authorization.
Follow-up visits are held by telepsychiatry, which makes regular check-ins easier to keep. Patients must be located in Washington at the time of the visit. Some services may be available in other states, so contact our office to confirm.
Most patients begin with an initial psychiatric evaluation.
Medication management is one part of treatment. Treatment can also include counseling and coordinated care. See our treatment page.
Your provider will recommend a follow-up schedule based on your needs.
Whether you are seeking psychiatric services, need an independent evaluation, or are coordinating care, The Psychiatric Group is here to help you find the appropriate next step.
